In our 14th year, PHA is proud to kick off Project Comfort & Joy 2022, our beloved contest in which the winner receives an energy efficient Trane Comfort System, professionally installed free-of-charge! We are so blessed to be able to give back to our community in this way and look forward to crowning this year’s winner.

The winner is drawn at random! You may nominate yourself or another deserving individual. As long as the following 3-simple criteria are met, the nominee will be entered for a chance to win!

Nominee must own the home
Nominee must live in the home
Nominee must have forced air ducting system in reasonable repair

Previous Winner: Scott Lewis

Mr. Lewis is a local volunteer firefighter for Gloucester County. With a non-functioning system, Scott cares for his disabled son and constantly worried for his health and safety. After a tearful celebration after winning, he expressed to us his house now feels like a “home” instead of just a “box.”

Previous Winner: Elizabeth Spencer

Previous Winner: Elizabeth Spencer Ms. Spencer is a 3-time cancer survivor whose 1986 system was functional, but extremely inefficient causing high electric bills and low comfort. She wore layers in her own home and struggled with symptoms of arthritis because of the chill. She was so thankful and sweet upon winning Comfort & Joy!

Previous Winner: Calisse Manning

Ms. Manning took custody of her 3 grandchildren late in life and it caused immense financial burden on the family. Winning Comfort & Joy was such a blessing for this family, they truly touched our hearts in unimaginable ways.
