Had a problem with our heating system. Mechanic Tim repaired it and did a detailed inspection of entire system and found a component that was starting to fail. He ordered new part and came back and installed it. Tim was great. He was friendly, efficient and explained everything he was doing. We have been dealing with PHA for over 30 years and never had a complaint. Highly recommend Tim and PHA.read more

Just had Peninsula Heating and Air install a new heat pump system (both inside and outside units) after the old Trane system died after 24 years of faithful service. I have to say that the entire staff of PHA are top notch. From the sales office (Faye) to the install crew (Ron and RG), they were all very professional and delivered what was promised. Jason, the operations supervisor, came out before hand and ensured there was a plan in place for fit up since the new inside unit is considerably larger than the old unit. Everything was installed without a hitch and I am very pleased with the work done. I would highly recommend PHA.read more

I lost power recently and as luck would have it, my generator wouldn't work. I called PHA. I can't say enough about the two guys that came out to work on it. They determined I needed a new part which they would have to order, but spent almost 2 hours trying to figure out a way to get it running long enough for our power to come back on. They went way above and beyond to help me. By the way, they did come up with a work-around and my generator ran until my power was restored. I'll never call anybody else!read more

The end of May 2018 I bought a Trane Heat Pump and Air Handler from Peninsula Heating & Air in Hayes, VA. PHA's Operations Supervisor Jason came to the house about 1-1/2 weeks before installation was to take place and walked me through the procedure of installation, how long it would take, the cost and the excellent finance plan that was available at the time. Jason and the installers arrived early in the morning as planned, worked quickly, efficiently, and finished by late afternoon. The work was completed in a day and the work site left clean. I am so pleased with how energy efficient the Trane is. It has brought my electric bill down, and cools beautifully...haven't yet turned on the heat but am sure it will heat as well as the Trane cools.I definitely recommend this company for heating and air handling equipment, plus the office staff are friendly and polite. They make it easy to do business with the company. Five Gold Stars and thank you to PHA, Jason and his team!read more

During the recent very wet snow storm in early December, a branch came down and badly dented our h-vac unit. Heating was not effected but we were told that when it came time to cool the house we would have serious problems. USAA ended up totaling the unit and today it was replaced. Eric arrived bright and early, neat, clean and polite. His helper was equally as nice. They seemed to work well together, because a project that was predicted to take a day and a half, took less than a day. Even though there was no heat in the house for several hours, I never got cold and I don't have to worry about the cold tonight. I'm an extremely happy customer and will always use PHA.read more

My fiancé and I are currently living in our first home, and we noticed our A/C unit was turning on but no air was blowing out of our vents. We called this company and luckily they were able to send Calvin to our house within an hour to fix our issue. He was very educated and professional; he informed us that it was a simple fix (we needed to change our filter). My fiancé and I are definitely going to continue using this company for our ac/heat tune ups. I highly recommend this company!!!!!!! We just had a new Trane unit installed in our new home by PHA and they did a fabulous job! We have been using them for 25 years. They installed a new Trane unit in our previous home 7 years ago and did a fabulous job again with installation and service over the years. They also service the units where I work and always do a fabulous job both places. They are always where they say they will be at the time they say and do exactly what they are asked to do. They are always friendly and courteous and are very careful to keep your home and their work area extremely clean. I highly recommend them and give them A++++++. Thanks to a great owner who runs his business with integrity and his staff to match. They are all a true blessing!!!read more
